By Football Italy staff Mihaela Graziani won the prestigious Art Deco furniture award at the Venice Biennial in Venice on Saturday.
Graziano is a member of the renowned Italian studio Mihalo and founded the award-winning studio in 1983.
Italia are in the midst of a rebuilding process after a disastrous 2013-14 season.
Grosnelli’s award comes after his team finished in fifth place in the Serie A table.
It has been a great year for the Giallorossi, with a 2-1 win over Udinese at the end of November and then winning a second consecutive Serie A title with a 3-0 win over Juventus at the weekend.
“MihaelA is a fantastic artist,” said the director of the award, Giuseppe Di Marzo.
“He won a very prestigious award for his work.
I am delighted with his success.”
The award is named after Mihalolos founder, Mihajlovic Grazina, who won the award for painting in 1954.
The Art Decomber, an exhibition of Grazi’s work, opened in Florence on May 5.
“I hope this win will encourage more people to see Graziana as an artist,” Di Marzio said.
“The world needs a new breed of artists who are interested in the beauty of nature and the world’s problems.”
